Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is near (Mathew 3:2)

2000 years ago, Lord Jesus and John the Baptist preached to the people to repent as every man was against God and lived according to the worldly pleasures. They rejected God and accepted their heart's desires. The Bible says in Mark 7: 20-23

What comes out of a man is what is makes him unclean. For from within, out of a man’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft ,murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly, all these evils  come from inside and make a man unclean.

When you decide to do by your heart's desires, you will fall to sin. Because all the thoughts in your hearts are evil which makes you to sin against God. When you continue do by your heart's desires your heart will be hardened to listen to voice of God and when you cannot listen to the voice of God, sin will cover your life and Satan will push you every day into sinful pits.

The Bible says in Hebrew 3: 7-8

So as the Holy Spirit says, Today if you hear his voice do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion during the time of testing in the desert.

Beloved when you give your heart to the Holy Spirit, He will enable you to listen to His Voice, so that your heart will not be hardened and He will make you free from your sins and He will give you the endless joy.

The Repentance is made by you through the Holy Spirit. When you read Jonah Chapter 3, God told Jonah that He will destroy Nineveh in the next forty days. Jonah told this to the people and the King of Nineveh and when they heard this they believed in God and they began to fast. The King sat down in the dust from his throne and they gave up their evil ways and their violence.

When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, He had compassion and did not bring upon them the destruction which He had warned. Beloved when you repent God will forgive your sins, because our God is a compassionate God. He said Repent for the kingdom of Heaven is near. When you Repent to God you can become the children of God in His Kingdom.

Prayer

Dear Holy Spirit please enable me to hear your voice, let my heart not be hardened, help me to repent from my sins, give me a Holy life which is pleasing to you.
